6th May 2005 Windsurfing: knap, barry Wind Direction: sw Wind Stength: 22mph Surf / Sea State: small waves Air Temperature: great Sea Temperature: ok Weather: sunny Max Speed: blew em al Distance Covered: LOADS Wot a day , got to knap around 12 ish and the imfamous local effect was in play nw 14 most places along coast but was already sw and enought to get going on the 5.3m .Few non locals rigging 6m+ and big boards , but "hey its that time of yr within an hr its going to be banging " and shure enough they wer'nt out long before rigging smaller .few guys out on sub 5m but stuck with the 5.3m . Lots out quite busy mid afternoon with exweather showing 22mph had good few hrs whick ended in a "walk of shame " but i,m claiming a default as me outhaul snapped and trying to rerig the bloody thing in the waves resulted in a very slack tied on job so sailed into old harbour , funny thing is seeing as i,m told i,m "aggresive and load " NO BUGGER MISSED ME ! Rant over . |
